Specialist in gynecology and obstetrics
Let me briefly introduce myself. I have been a specialist in gynecology and obstetrics in Egypt since 2006 and in Germany since 2011. I have been a member of the German Medical Association for Gynecology and Obstetrics (DÄGGG) since 2014 and a board member, serving as treasurer, since 2022, a position I am very pleased to hold. In 2019, I received my habilitation (Venia Legendi) from the Faculty of Medicine at the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg. Some of the publications included in my habilitation thesis resulted from collaborations between university hospitals in Egypt and Germany. Several projects are currently underway, which I hope will soon lead to publications. The mission of the association is to build bridges. Professor Schindler, one of the founders of the association, helped me obtain my DAAD scholarship, enabling me to complete further training in gynecological oncology. Now, I am delighted to be able to strengthen existing bridges and build new ones through the activities of the DÄGGG. This can only be achieved together! This is what our society preaches: cooperation and exchange.
